SKIN TYPES
There are five basic skin types however; a person’s skin type can vary at different times during our lives due to illness or for other reasons.

Dry Skin

This skin type is lacking in natural moisture. This is caused by under or inactive oil glands that do not produce enough sebum to keep the skin naturally lubricated. This type of skin flakes and chaps easily compared to other skin types. Tiny expression lines maybe obvious too. It usually ha s a dull appearance, feels dry and itchy and is sometimes sensitive.

Oily Skin

This skin type is containing or producing a lot of oil. This is caused by glands that produce too much sebum resulting to a greasy slippery texture, appears shinny and is usually has large clogged pores. This skin type is prone to develop acne, outbreak of pimples and blackheads. This happens mainly due to excessive hormonal secretion Combination Skin

This skin type is dry on some areas usually on cheeks and oily on the other part usually on T-zone. The forehead, nose and chin need extra attention as they maybe prone to cluster of blackheads and enlarged pores.


Sensitive Skin

This skin type reacts internally and externally to changes in life. It can be both oily and dry and can be easily irritated by product and cosmetics. It is commonly dry, delicate and prone to allergic reaction.


Normal Skin

This skin type has a balance oil and water content. It has a smooth texture and evenly toned with tiny pores. Only few people are blessed with this kind of skin type. This skin type is neither oily nor dry and is considered to be the fine and supple surface.
